How I Read

When I was younger I didn't like reading that much. However when I got to 5th/6th grade I started to like reading because I read the Hunger Games series, and from that point on I really had a love for reading and went on to read all kinds of series like Harry Potter, Maze Runner, Percy Jackson, and Divergent. At a certain point my passion was reading but I didn't realize how good of a reader I was. Now in high school I don't read at all as hobby anymore, and I only read when I'm forced to. I personally feel like my reading comprehension has degraded since my "prime years" of reading and it kind of makes me sad because now when I read my history book to take notes I struggle to comprehend what I'm reading and I know I will need that skill back to survive future classes.
