The Socratic Method- Response

After reading "The Socratic Method" it definitely changed the way I viewed Socratic seminars. Going through Socratic seminars in my previous English classes I never realized how beneficial they can be for both the student and the teacher. Although there may be some concerns about teaching with Socratic Method, I do think it is helpful for students to learn in a style that is out of their comfort zone while also learning about their own knowledge and capability.
