First Impression of a Dream

After reading "A Dream Within a Dream" by Edgar Allan Poe my first thoughts were confusion. I read what the words said and understood their literal meaning but it took me a while to understand  the meaning between the lines. From what I took away from it was that no matter how hard we try to hold on to our "dreams" they always seem to slip away. No matter if they are real, fake, or somewhere in between dreams slip away and making it harder to grasp if it was real or not.
