AP Practice Prompt
"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks" -John Muir. Society today is always moving, always a awake never asleep but don't you ever wanna stop for a moment? Take a break from the busy days and clear your mind? Well you may not realize it but parks are perfect little oasis's for getaways like this. Parks range in variety from small to big, from city to national parks our nature surrounds us everywhere that sometimes it's important to remember that it is there. Everywhere we go we are bombarded with advertisements, text messages, and social media that our brains are overworked everyday trying to take in all this information but we get so caught up in this society that we forget where we come from and where we are. At parks where the outside noises are cancelled out by the call of nature, our minds finally have time to take for themselves. It's also very important to realize the beauty of our nature as we live on this earth since we live in a day in age where our earth is dying. Day by day the earth undergoes multiple stresses on it as we use up it's resources and abuse its purposes, that taking just a bit of our time to appreciate its beauty is the bare minimum we owe to the Earth. So take a break from the rushing world of modern society and enter the world of our nature. Take these moments to not only regain yourself but help the earth in order for all of us to grow healthy on our home, planet Earth.
