What Are We Learning Now

As we read into F451, a lot of parallels come up between their dystopian society to our world today. One distinct fact we learned about in F451 was how their school system works when Clarisse describes her daily school day, which scarily closely resembles our school system today. In F451 school is just a bunch of different blocks or periods where they watch a video lecture to study one topic and then move on to the next class without ever asking questions or show true genuine curiosity on what they are learning. This scarily kind of represents our schools today as we have different classes on a schedule each day and we go through them having the slightest bit of interest and very little to no curiosity about the topics we learn. This shows how closely related our societies might actually be.
