Gatsby Thoughts and Notes: Chapter 6
- Now we find out that Jay Gatsby's real name is James Gatz of North Dakota
- Gatsby saw Dan Cody's yacht and Dan Cody allowed Gatsby be to work for him as a fisher
- Dan Cody tried to give Gatsby money but Ella Kaye (Cody's lover) didn't allow Gatsby to inherit the money and instead she took it
- Daisy and Tom left the Gatsby's party not liking the party
-Gatsby wants to erase all of the 3 years he hasn't been with Daisy that way Tom never existed and they could continued right where they left off (even if Gatsby can't he'll die trying)
- In Nick's eyes Gatsby's love for Daisy shows how Gatsby is just a hopeless romantic and although its something everyone wants (that knight in shiny armor to save the day type of style) it's so unrealistic and impossible that its almost confusing for Gatsby to live such a life
